My job is being eliminated. Accept job they offer or look elsewhere?

I've been with the company for a few years. I took my current position knowing it would eventually be eliminated. (due to software updates) Anyway, the company is offering me a position that I am sick about accepting, but the pay is good. I am a single Mom with three kids. My hours would change to 11-7:30. Changing my hours would cost me more money in childcare and I would barely see them. The other negative to this job are the doctors I would work directly under. They are vicious. They yell, swear, send nasty emails...etc to the employees that I would join. I know what I am and am not capable of. Being treated badly is not something I have a thick enough skin for. I would probably cry or be throwing up in the bathroom.

On the flip side. I've been looking at other job listings. So many of then list qualifications that I don't have and the pay is sometimes $10 less an hour than what I'm making now. I can't take that much of a cut.

Ugh! I have a couple months before the change. I am already a wreck about what to do. Advice...please???

Try to not jump to conclusions. If the pay and hours can be managed, then maybe you should at least give it a try...mainly because it IS hard to keep the same pay rate when you leave a job unless you're upgrading your position. By the way, there are people in all sorts of work situations who have abrasive personalities, so you need to try to not take it all too personally.

Those hours DO look lousy, but when you need the job, one does adjust!
