Hello,

My mother is in need of a job but she has no skill whatsoever. She is 40 years old and needs to pay rent for her room (approximately $300). I live with my dad and at this time, cannot support her. I am thinking of something like factory work. Even sewing requires expertise which my mother does not have. Please help!!

Option 1:

Kelly Services, -- The Temp Agency will often hire

many individuals, men & women, even in their 40s, even without much skills,

so walk to the office near you, (or look it up in the Yellow Pages)

http://www.kellybranchlocator.com/

Unfortunately, they fired me, but you may have better luck than I did.

Option 2:

Carson One-Stop Business & Career Center

1 Civic Plaza Drive, Ste 500

Carson, CA 90745

http://www.sbwib.org/carson/home.html

This place has factory and warehouse jobs for people of all ages,

at least that's the way I remembered it when I was there 10 years ago.

Option 3:

Restaurants are more than happy to hire people with no skills, as long as

they look nice and friendly with communication skills.

Unfortunately, most of these jobs are already taken.

Option 4:

Okay, there is no Option 4, I'm out of options... ;)
