I am 17, and I am looking for a job working with animals.

I live in Mississauga (Meadowvale)

I have applied at Petsmart and Pj Pets.

I tried Pet Value but I have to be 18 to work with that company.

I want to work with pets not just in a store for pets.

I am looking for some suggestions on where else I can try if you have a website you could post please do so :)

You can work in a vet's office. Anything from receptionist to surgical assistance, most vets need people to walk and feed the animals left in their care, to groom and bathe them, and generally keep the office clean and appealing. You can always run your own pet-care business. You can arrange to visit the pet's home and feed, water, and exercise the animals for the owners when they are unable to come home soon enough to care for them. This can be a trip at lunchtime for most people, or a couple of visits daily for people on a 12 hour shift, or more frequently for people away for the weekend, etc. You can take in pets to groom and bathe, Another option would be a job at a local zoo, if you are lucky enough to have one nearby. Or caring for a local team mascot (like the bulldog, Uga, mascot of University of Georgia, bringing him to games and rallays, etc.) Good luck with this one, we need more poeple that are interested in the well being of pets.
