Job searching tips anyone?

I am looking for a job right now and am looking into many job searching sites but the problem is finding one that isn't a scam. Does anyone have any advice on where to look?? Furthermore if anyone has any useful tips on job searching it would be greatly appreciated thank you!!!

What I've learned, is only go to federal job ad websites.

And don't apply for jobs that don't show either a an address, phone number, contact name, or the business' name because they could be trying to steal your personal info.

There is a whole bunch of "helpwanted.com" sites across the country.

start with www.helpwanted.com at some point you wil find a list of prefixes, i.e.: www.capitalareahelpwanted.com, www.hudsonvalleyhelpwanted.com

Try sticking with the major job search engines such as Monster.com, Jobs.com and Indeed.com. You can usually weed out the scams by how they are worded. If anything sounds too good to be true, it probably is!

I have a website devoted to career change. It has career advice and practical tips for job searching, resume writing and other resources.
