Job question NEED ADVISE BADLY?

Ok delima is this
8 hour days 9$ an hour m-f
vs
12 hour nightshift 11$ an hour 2 days on 2 days off
8 hour days is an easier job but less pay BUT on a positive note the schedual syncs with my fiances
12 hour days is more pay and more days off BUT leaves me little time on the days i work to spend with my fiance and work on my MANY projects.
really disputing this one the pay is nice but the nightshift is killer and after talking to people that work there its hard to get moved to days and may take as much as a YEAR of trying.

I would hold on to the day shift and try finding a better paying job. Your fiance shouldn't have to put up with a night schedule, it affects both people in the relationship. Sure the $2.00 extra would be nice, but that sounds like the crappiest shift and hours imaginable. |

I know this might sound very basic, or it may be something you have thought of before, but weigh your options and know your priorities. If this is a long time thing, go for the one that will leave you happier. But if this is a short time thing and knowing that you would have to make some sacrifices, go for the one with more money. |

Personally, I'd do the 8 hours m-f job. It's awful working shifts that clash with your partners' - at one point I was working 6am-2pm, monday to friday, and my hubby was working 1:30pm-10pm tuesday-saturday, meaning we only had one day together, where he'd need a lie in and I'd need an early night. It was awful :( |
