Hi,

I'm fifteen (sixteen this September) and i'm trying to find a part time job.

Where can I work ?

Most places seem to only hire people who are atleast sixteen...

It would be VERY helpful if anyone can tell me where they got a job at fifteen or where they know I can find one..

I live in Salem, OR.

& My G.P.A is above a 3.0 and I have my parents permission to get a job.

I'm a legal citizen of the U.S.

Start applying at restaurant and fast food service places. McDonald's often hires students under 16 - at least in Canada they do. If the McDonald's has good management its a great place for teens to get work experience and move their way up - get possible team work, leadership and manager experience.

My son started at the bottom there and worked his way up to manager in 5 years. He did everything from supervising to making schedules, hiring, firing, times sheets etc. Boy did that look good on his resume for the job he has now. He's a manager of a private care home. Totally different environment but the same skills. Be a willing hard worker.
