Job Center Says I'm a Student STILL!?

I have been to the Job centre about 4 times now and every time i have been they say we cannot pay you because it says you're a full time student.

I'm clearly not a full time student but i was BEFORE i started JSA. When i go to the job centre i tell them i have a letter saying I'm not a student anymore and they tell me to send it. I have sent the letter 3x now and still they say I'm a student.

I rang the Job Centre and they tell me to send the letter AGAIN because they never got it...

I don't know what i can do here apart from sending the letter over and over. Is there anything i can do?

Take the letter down there and speak with someone, you need to explain the situation and state that the claim period you are not a student.

Go there.

If the don't help, insist on seeing a manager.

You have a right like anyone else.

I would just move on because i don't think they want to put you on or personally send the manager the letter stating that you are not a full time student and suggest that they keep on top of things or look at something else because it does not seem professional for them not to get your letter and they may be trying to freeze you out so you are not going there anymore or could be a sign to start looking for another job
