Is there a career for this...?

Category: Other

Is there a career where someone can work with endangered animals? like, maybe take care of them for a while or help them. I have heard of people being able to take a pet into their home and take care of it and I'm wondering if that is a career choice?

I think it's something I would absolutely love to do and want to view my options. Thanks!

Home working is always a bit difficult because there are so many criminals who are out to cheat you. I have been working from home for the last month, I unearthed some fantastic guidance on the website in the box below which showed me the most effective way to go about it.

Yes, there is.

You would want to start by volunteering at a local animal shelter. They'll have you clean kennels and things like that, but you'll get some experience under your belt, and have an opportunity to network with people in that industry, and get training. You might even be able to start small by fostering a hurt sparrow or something.

Next, think about college courses that apply to your interest: zoology, natural resource management, range management, animal husbandry, nutrition.... all of those kinds of sciences.

Then, think about a job with the government like BLM, who manage the wild mustangs. They will hire you with a range management degree.

Once you've got some experience and education under your belt, you can build a name for yourself.
