Hello, there is a place i been working at for about a week now, I mean the job isn't bad, the hours are great, the only problem is, that I am dealing with blood, not just any blood, but its blood, that can get you sick, I have no health insurance, I want to leave, because I see it as a hazard to my health. Is it worth staying those hours and dealing with that just to get sick? Its a minimum wage job.

Only you can tell if the job is worth it. But consider the information others are also providing here. Then ask some questions from your employer. Questions like how they deal with safety issues such as handling the blood and so on? DId they even tell you whats involved prior to hiring and train you on handling it? If not there is a big problem already.

When coming into contact with Human body fluids such as blood, extreme caution must be taken to prevent direct contact of such fluid. If you get an open wound while handling blood and the blood is tainted or contains disease such as AIDS, then it can definitely transmit the disease to you.

Dealing with Blood and minimum wage does not sound right. Only trains professionals can handle blood. Your employer could also be in lot of trouble if they knowingly and without prior notice put you in any danger.
