At 14, you probably aren't old enough to get a job anywhere; children can do chores like babysitting, pet sitting, car washing, lawn mowing. |

There are lots of potential problems for teenagers in work, many of them legal, parents and guardians need to be vigilant about that. There is lots of help from the resource in the box below on this issue, they also have help for all peeps who are hunting for work, or who need to change careers. |

At 14 you probably wouldn't be considered for a paying job, but almost surely would be allowed to volunteer. |
