When I was 6 I won the name the stage contest at Barnes and Noble, (and my name is on a plaque in the store) and a year ago I won a design an earth bag at Krogers. are these worthy things, or good things to put on a resume?

If they are related to the job that you are applying for then yes. However the one when you were 6 is probably too long ago to be worth putting on really.

If you're going for some design role then the B+N one might be helpful.

Don't put them on your resume.

Only if you are going for an art job put the Kroger experience.

In my opinion, no. First, who cares what happened when you were 6? Second, all I want to know is if you have the proper education and work experience for the job. The less crap I have to wade through the better.

Just sayin'.

Just the facts will do - they only want to know what you know about the job

you/re applying for - not unrelated matters about how well you play horse shoes.

No, the stage contest would look just plain silly on a resume, and unless the job you're applying for is related to graphic design, the Kroger contest shouldn't be mentioned either.
