Is bad behavior bad for a job application?

So I got A*s, A's and B's in my GCSE's but I have a history of poor behavior, lots of detentions and two suspensions, will this lower my chances of getting a good job by much? Are the grades all that matter?

Those kind of things won't matter. They won't have access to your permanent record. If anything just your grades and attendance record. Your transcript maybe. They will probably look for your diploma at a work place. If you have a good letter of recommendation and good academic success, then a college could care less about your detentions or attendance if you are able to learn. To get the good job, you need to get a college education. There are some but few good jobs that don't require a college education. Just have good references on your resume that will put in a good word for you and your high school diploma.
