Interview follow up help?

So I had an interview for an entry level position on May 30th and I was told I was one of the "for runners" and I would find out in a week and a half to two weeks. So I followed up my interview with a thank you letter and since I haven't heard from them I decided to call (which they told me I could do) to see what is going on, and I found out they are still interviewing and they don't have a time table on when they are going to hire. I expressed my interest in working there again (very briefly) but the fact they are still interviewing and now they have no time table I am VERY worried on what I should do. I really just want to ask "I am still in the running" but of course I won't ask that, and I'm not sure what to do. They seemed pleased that I followed up with them, but the fact there still interviewing during the time I was supposed to know if I got the job is making very worried.
