Im worried about starting college anyone give me some advice?

So im starting college in september, everyone i know say that im really easy to get on with, but im worried i wont make any friends, its really putting me off the idea of college, what can i do to make sure i will make friends easily? thankyou!!

I was worried about this because the colleges I went to were outside of my city, but don't worry about it. Just be open and friendly. They're probably thinking the same as you. |

Don't worry, everyone is going to be in the same boat. Most of the people you go to college with will be starting out fresh just like you. Many schools have a lot of freshman orientation activities to help students adjust which is a good opportunity to meet new friends. I would say the easiest way to meet people is to join some on-campus groups that interest you. Theater groups, sports groups, cultural societies are all examples of places you can meet people with similar interest. Enjoy the experience, it really goes by much faster than you expect! |

The best advice I can give you is be yourself, BE CONFIDENT, don't care about what every body thinks about you, and make sure to be outgoing and introduce yourself to new people! |
