If you were 19 years old and had an opportunity to work full time....?

If you were 19 years old and had an opportunity to work full time doing manual labor for the whole summer making ~$1,000 a week, would you do it? Or would you settle for a part time job and enjoy the summer?

Contemplating between the two right now.

From personal experience, you need to know what you want. When I was 19 I worked at Fred Meyers Distribution Center and my hours were horrible 3:30 - 12:00 A.M and I worked the whole summer, but I did make bank! But I missed out hanging out with friends when they went to the movies and parties on Fridays and going to the beach. I did get to hang-out during the weekends but I was so exhausted from work that I just usually spent all day sleeping. The money did help out in college and gave me cash to buy whatever I wanted.

In my situation I needed the money, so I had to sacrifice my summer but if I had the money I would've taken the summer with friends for sure.

You have the rest of your life to make money, but summer time is not going to be the same when your grown-up with a career and there is no such thing as summer break.

Well pretty much all the people your age have to do manual labor lol....working in restaurants and retail require manual labor...it really depends what kind of manual labor
