If you're terminated from your job, you can't get anything? Like compensations?

I was terminated because they wanted to, then they told me that I couldn't get my salary, incentives and 13th month pay. Is that true?

Is this in the USA? What is the 13th month pay? Is it a oonus? Would you have already earned it such as you would get it at X date? If that is true, then I think you may be entitled to it but not if you didn't hit that date. You also are entitled to the compensation you have earned. You can also file for unemployment but may not get it. |

Unless you have an employment contract, OF COURSE that is true. When you do not work there any longer, you are NOT entitled to be paid as if you did. Is working new to you?? |
