If I apply for a job, can I at least mention that I have a car?

Good day!

I would like to have the opinion of you guys if it is OK for me to say that I already have a car even for the fact that I haven't started working yet. I'm a fresh graduate.

I am thinking that maybe the employer would hire person who don't have a car or who's not that rich because that worker would -maybe- stay for the job, work harder and not leave the company as they really need it. You probably know what I'm saying here.

Anyways, I need to know if its OK because I live far from the company I would like to apply to and I would like to tell them that it is only a 20 minute drive away versus the 1 hour commuting.

Thanks!

I would just say that you have a car therefore getting to work wouldn't be a problem for you..

For me, it is okay even if you have a car. Your skills and educational background will matter to the company, than what type of vehicle do you have. :)

Put on your resume:

Willing to commute within one hour radius.

(I did this on my resume).

This tells them you have a car - and tells the the distance you are willing to commute.

Put it under Personal:

at the bottom.

Some applications ask that.

But it is assumed that you can get to work.
