I worked in philadelphia at a job from december to april and the unemployment office told me i may not be eligable because to be considered i need 16 weeks and i only have 14. Would it be wise to lie a little and added the 2 weeks so they can think i worked 16 weeks?

You can't lie - all your wages and work weeks are reported each qtr to the unemployment office - your word means nothing - even with only 16 week of work in a benefit yr, you would probably be lucky to get $50-75 a week in unemployment benefits - and that's taxable income

You can lie all you want....what are you going to do about the computer that shows actually how much time you worked...

No. That's fraud and they will contact the employer to get your start and end date anyway. How about you just go get a job instead?
