I worked in philadelphia at a job from december to april and the unemployment office told me i may not be eligable because to be considered i need 16 weeks and i only have 14. Would it be wise to lie a little and added the 2 weeks so they can think i worked 16 weeks?

You can't lie - all your wages and work weeks are reported each qtr to the unemployment office - your word means nothing - even with only 16 week of work in a benefit yr, you would probably be lucky to get $50-75 a week in unemployment benefits - and that's taxable income |

No. That's fraud and they will contact the employer to get your start and end date anyway. How about you just go get a job instead? |
