I was wondering how difficult and how the salary was for certain college majors?

I am starting my freshman year in college, and right now I am starting classes and am planning to change my Psychology major and found 3 job titles that I was interested in. Physical therapist, Occupational therapist, and Pharmacist. How many years in general do you need to study for each job, and how much do they make. Also, how successful are these job titles, or are all these jobs too difficult to get into. I was looking for a job that could eventually make over 100,000 a year, as well as working with people, but I don't want to be in school for more than 6-8 years, 6 would be ideal.

Sounds like being a pharmacist is the career for you, assuming you're good at science. You can do it in 6 years and you can easily make $100,000.

You are not going to be making in excess of $100k within 5 years of graduation and licensing in these occupations. A pharmacist who opens his own pharmacy might eventually make that, but it is really tough to open a pharmacy and compete with the chains.

How are you in the sciences? Unless you are absolutely crackerjack in sciences, you are going to have a very tough time in any of these programs, especially pharmacy. But all of them can be done within 6 years.

If you can go the pharmacist route and do summer classes. I had a friend who completed the program in 5 years and now she's making serious bank.
