I was late too an interview....?

I need your advice.! I was LATE to the interview because the busses downtown were backed up. So i got to the interview and the manager was like "I'm sorry we don't interview people who are late". And I said ok and walked out.
So it's been about a couple of weeks since that happened and i'm strongly thinking about going in there and asking again for a second chance. If so...what should I say when I walk in there?
"Hi, may I speak to your manager" then the manager comes.....NOW WHAT :( help and also i dunno whether she'll remember me or not is this a good idea or not and what should i say?!

IDoesn't matter if she remembers you - if you go in asking for a 'second' chance, it would be obvious that you blew the first chance, and you'll have to tell her about it anyway, even if she did forget. Snce the circumstances haven't changed (you were late/they don't hire people who come late) and you say that several weeks have passed, so they've likely already hired someone and the job is no longer even available, I'd say this is a lost cause, but a good lesson in time management. |
