Tempting isn't it. Just remember somewhere down the line your loyalty may be in question by your previous employer about the fact that you just up and quit. As hard as it is, I would say to give two weeks notice. You never know if you may ever run into any of those people in a future job. Take the higher road and treat them with respect. If you have leave take it for the last week.

Please give a two week notice. It will benefit you in the long run. Stick with it because that will teach you patience and also not to give up on yourself.

Unless you plan on staying at the new job for pretty much forever, you are better off going in tomorrow, handing in a letter of resignation and working out the last five days. Calling in cold and not showing up will mean you can't count on that job for a good recommendation and yes, new employers have ways of finding out where you worked to get references.

Go in and say this is my last week they may very well tell you just to leave. dont just call in that is just rude

I own a cleaning company & I absolutely HATE when people just quit, because it screws the WHOLE week up. I would personally OFFER a notice. Simply say, I was offered a better job opportunity else where with MORE pay & MORE benefits. They need me to start next week. So all that I can give you is a week notice. What happens if that job falls through & for some reason you don't get the job? At least, you were fair to the other company & they'll let you stay. Think of yourself and anything that may occur. I had someone quit on me with no notice & then called back 2 months later begging for her job back. And guess what I told her???
