So, yeah. I start Monday at a vet's office (kennel position) and it's full time. Are there any documents or information I need to bring with me just in case they ask for it? Like my social security card or a copy of my birth certificate?

I haven't talked been in since my last interview so I haven't had to sign any papers yet, and I don't even have my work schedule yet.

Usually, they'll need your bank details, so they can pay you.

A good idea, is to take any other official stuff, driving license, and yes, your SS card.

And well done. Starting a new job is always fraught with excitement, and trepidation.

Welcome to the 'real-world'.

You will need to bring supporting documents to fill out the i-9 employment verification form. The most common supporting documents are a drivers license and social security card, though you can also use a birth certificate or a passport.

Drivers license and SSN card will work. That should be all you need.
