I live in california and it's been a week since my last day and I still have not been paid. Do I get paid for every day until they pay me? If so when does it start ?

They should mail you your check on the day you would have been paid normally. You will not receive any money for any days you did not actually work. If you don't receive your check within a few days after you would normally have received it, call them and ask where it is. If you don't get a straight answer, tell them you'll be contacting the Department of Labor in your state. That should do the trick. If it doesn't, contact the DOL and complain.
