I plan on handing out my resume tomorrow. Do I need a cover letter (details)?

I have a cover letter - but it is specific to HR jobs - at this point I'll take anything in the way of Administration. I have my resume printed on the pretty resume paper - I can go redo my cover letter and print it on plain white paper, but then it won't match my resume. I can't get it on the matching paper until tomorrow night. What do I do?

I am sure that you already know by now - or should do - that all job application documents - cover letter, resume etc., should be printed on business-like paper. After all, your application is to a business.

Having your resume printed on "pretty paper" is generally a NO NO. Ask yourself what the other guy - reader of your letter - will think. She is NOT looking for pretty. She's looking for someone with the ability to do the job in question. She cares not about your pretty paper. Whomever advised you to use pretty paper is wrong. Everything should be business-like. Get your resume on plain paper right away - not the other way around.
