I need your opinion about this job that applied for...please help!!!?

I applied for this job last month on March 14. The job was posted up on hospital's website on March 12. About two days ago, i finally got a call for an interview for this job. why did it take so long...its almost May. Could it be that they hired someone before and it didn't work out? idk....what do you think? by the way the job is at a hospital.
