Since this will be your first job, I'm assuming it's full time. A simple way to find out if a clothing or similar retail store is hiring is to ask them. Visit your local mall, or shopping center, and go from store to store asking if they are hiring. If not, ask if any other stores in their chain are looking for extra help.

Let everyone you can think of know that you are looking for a job. Friends, relatives, acquaintances. Send out mass e-mails, post it on your Facebook account, whatever will let the most people know you're looking for work.

Job hunting sites such as careerbuilder.com and monster.com are also excellent resources.

Hunting for a job is difficult, especially if it's years since you previously did it! I was jobless recently, but I uncovered the website in the box below which is really helpful in lots of ways. By doing as they advised, in a month or so I soon got myself a job.

I called many stores because I am looking for a job. This was the response they gave which makes me happy after looking for so long.

Find a local one go online and apply and go in store to apply or call and ask if they are hiring.

What I did was Google a bunch of business near my home and found their numbers using Google maps or their sites and I called and directly asked if they are hiring and what age do they hire at.

Try local grocery stores, pizza parlors, retail stores, fast food restaurants.
