**If you wear a bold necklace, don't wear bold earrings, and vice versa. You don't want too much clutter on yourself. If you find some funky earrings you would rather wear then a necklace go that way. I'm more of a necklace person. You can still wear earrings just keep them simple stud type earrings.

And then some black pants or a black pencil skirt like Morgan said. Also I would make sure to wear some sort of close toed shoe, because many places that you have to dress up require this.
