I need help with a job opportunity!?

Ok so I applied for a babysitting job a few weeks ago and it seems that I have the job. The only problem is that these people live in another country and its hard for me to communicate with them since they are 8 hours ahead of me. But they are coming here in a week and I havent really heard back from them. I know that they are busy people especially with planning a 6 month trip and all but I quit my other job for this one and I need to make sure that i'm going to have income. So my question is how do I get this info without comming off as rude?
