I don't want to go to college!?

I'm 19 and I have already dropped out of 3 colleges, pathetic I KNOW so don't remind me lol. I absolutely can't stand college! So that option is out. I want to join the Navy but I just found out that it might not be an option for me. I'm female so I can't do construction. What are some options for a career path that don't require college but would allow me to support myself?!!

You could go to vocational (trade school) to do:

paralegal, bookkepper, admin assnt

but im assuming you want something more challenging

Try to get work exp now.

My manager at the engineering firm I work dropped out of college after a few months and is doing quite well for herself (alot of professional experience, with no school)

There's a lot of possibilities that don't require a full college degree, although your chances of landing a good job will improve if you at least decide to do a two-year associates degree or vocational training. It's kind of hard to tell you what to do without knowing what you enjoy doing.

Off the top of my head, I'm thinking you could do something like police/fire/EMT work. You could learn a trade or some kind of skilled labor (plumbing, electrician, etc.) You can get certified to become something in the medical field that doesn't require a full four-year degree, like a dental hygienist or radiation therapist. You might consider becoming a real estate broker in preparation for when the economy bounces back.

Or, heck, you could try your hand at opening a small business.
