I don't know whether to put this in my CV or not?
I have all the skills, qualifcations, references and that on my CV, but I'm not sure whether to put in a hobbies and interests section or not :/
This is what I wrote for it:
In my free time, I enjoy reading and writing, and it is because of this that I am interested in work involving literature. The books I enjoy the most are thrillers as they are fast-paced and always manage to surprise you. Because I have always enjoyed reading, it led to an interest in writing. I have been writing for about two years now and I really enjoy it. However, I know that I still have far to go, as there is always area for improvement. Hopefully, in the future, if I am able to hone my skill enough, I would like to be able to write and publish my own books someday, in the hope that I might be able to inspire others by the craft of writing.
Also I like to meet up with friends, in which we would usually go out to the cinema simply because they are inspiring. I really enjoy team sports “ such as basketball “ and gaming in general. I particularly like the competitive side of sports, and also working within a team. Similarly with my drama plays, where we had to work together to devise and perform plays, as well as solve any problems that arose quickly and efficiently as not to waste time.

Do you think it's worth putting it in or not? If it's any help I'm only 16 so I can't really write that much for the rest of it, as I don't have qualifications higher than GCSE's and those are only predicted grades for the most of them.

A bit too long winded. Just condense it a bit and watch your punctuation. But the content is good - it's interesting and shows that you have an interest in a variety of things. |

The question before adding any Hobbies and Interests section is: does it add additional skills to your CV? |
