I went to school #1 from 2003 - 2007

from 2007-2010 I was working

Jan 2010 - April 2010 I went to school #2

June 2010 - August I will go back to school #1 and obtain my degree by August 2010

I have been searching the web and asking around and no one seems to have an answer that wouldn't just confuse the person looking at the resume. Any help would be appreciated!

I would ONLY list the better school out of the two or the one that you got the degree from! that's it.

School #1, 2003-2007, 2010 - Present

Location

Degree, Major, Expected completion date August 2010

School #2, January - April 2010

Location

School #3, etc...

It's not unusual for someone to get credits from more than one school. Just show the school and the dates of attendance. Only put the degree completion date (or expected date) for the school you get the degree from. Anybody looking at the example I showed above will understand that you were not at school #1 between 2007 and 2010. It shouldn't be confusing.

You should always list your education with the LATEST entry at the top. If two different entries are both CURRENT or just finishing, then list the one that SOUNDS best at the top. There are no guidelines for resume building. Whatever sets you apart or sounds the best to the employer is all that matters in the end.

Also - there is a website called www.BlueDotJobs.com where you can find all kinds of tips about building a resume and also get yours graded by a professional. They will look at your resume and tell you all the areas that need attention.
