OB's have the highest rate of malpractice lawsuits. I've known ones who have quit and pursued other careers due to the constant stress of one slip up and ages of litigation.

Optometrists are much safer, but also make far less.

Go with the radiologist. You're always trying to diagnose novel problems - good use of your brain, and hard to run into suits. It's something you'll find fulfilling and compensate you well.

I would choose the OB/GYN...More money, and its not as physically demanding. Plus the job outlook is going to skyrocket which means more jobs.

Although I love my OB/GYN, I wouldn't want her job because of the horror stories she tells me of anonymous women with awful smells, spots, bumps, lumps, colors, and everything inbetween.

An optometrist is a fantastic job, and to be honest, doesn't seem that boring! My optomotrist showed me a few flash photos of the retina of people's eyes.. I was so interested!

Other than that, a diagnostic radiologist also sounds interesting but you are right that you would be wasting time trying to get into it, and failing. Only if you were confident in your success should you try.

I was going to say radiologist, but you don't sound like you would get it. It's very lucrative once you get out. So then I picked optometrist, because again, it's a good career, and a money maker. OB/GYN? It's not disgusting, really, but that's a career with a lot of risks involved. You have to depend on a lot of lab work, and if they goof, you get sued too.
