I had a second interview and everything went great but Its been a week and they still have not called. They didn't even call my references. I really thought I was going to get it but I guess not. Do retail stores take a while to call people back or do you think I'm just not right for the position. Oh and my background check is total reliable so that wouldn't be the case.

You should not wait for the potential employer to contact you or they might not at all..............one week is long enough to contact the person that is doing the hiring and remind them about your interviews and that you are still VERY interested in the position................letting them know that you really want the job will often be enough to let them know you are "the" person they want !! |

After my second interview at my current job...They called my references within two days and called me after three days. It's okay for you to call and talk to the person that is doing the hiring. |
