I am leaving my daycare job because I get sick ALL THE TIME. Is it ok to say this if my boss asks why?

I am giving my 2 weeks notice today. Of course there are other parts about my job I dislike, but the main thing is that I have been super sick ever since the day I started two months ago!! All of the germs (I get 60 new kids a day because it's a back-up center) are slowly wearing me down!!
I am planning on just telling her I have another opportunity elsewhere that I want to pursue, but what if she asks why I want to leave? Should I mention that I am sick or just stick with the positive?

Also, I have already used up all my sick days, as I was hospitalized with a fever of 104 for two days... and it took me a week to recover fully. So it won't be news to her!

If your boss asks why you're leaving, it's better to stick to the positive. You never know when you may need a reference from this woman, and you want to leave with a good impression. However, she may not ask at all. Good luck with your new job! |

Yes do it if you are not enjoying whatever you are doing then its better to stop doing that job ASAP. |
