I'm not a guru but i can tell you what is important. Be confident in yourself and your ability even if you dont have the experience because see it this way - if you know you can do something if you try it and are shown then you will be able to do it. Like when you learnt how to ride a bike, at first it was a bit scary and tricky but you figured it out and it now it's EASY AS! right?

So, remember to have confidence in your ability even if not having the experience freaks you out just have confidence in knowing that you have the ability to learn it and therefore the resulting knowing it.

If they ask what experience even if you have to tell them any form of experience with enthusiasm and say 'well not in this field but i'm a good cleaner at home, cleanliness is important - i mop, clean the shower etc etc. Even if they know you have little experience but your enthusiasm will make them see you will be a good worker and worth training. Keep your nails clean and short and neat. Make sure your teeth are clean. Nice neat hairstyle. Tidy appearance. Take a note pad and pen just incase and a diary to write any dates in. It will show them you are organised. I'm not sure about the resume but i know if you do volunteer work that will look good and you can sometimes get references for volunteer work or from a teacher?

If you show them you have confidence in yourself and a 'can do' attitude (because you KNOW you can do it , like the riding the bike) then they will believe your confidence and see that you are capable. One thing to remember in the future - the best thing you can do. Do not quit a job until you have found another one. Always give atleast 2 or 3 weeks notice before quitting so they can find someone else. If you do this they will see you have good work ethics and you gain a reference. Learn from my mistakes! and try stay in a job for atleast a year and dont have a string of jobs of working 3months here or 3months there - looks bad. Show that you have good work ethics, always give notice before quitting, staying in a job for a decent amount of time shows you have loyalty and are committed. Try ALWAYS to be punctual and unless it is against your will, like your bus comes late or something obvious. I hope you find out about the resume thing.

Work yourself up before the interview - improvise, if they ask you 'why do you want this job? dont just say the 'money!!!!! although we all work for money for survival. But say something like i'm looking forward to having my first job, gaining some independance for the first time, for self confidence and self-esteem and for quality of life. Please remember having good work ethics and it will take you along way - and avoid gossiping at work with the gossipers or they can get you in trouble. Good luck!

If you can prepare a brief resume of your school history, awards, grade point average etc. it wouldn't hurt. Even a part-time baby-sitting job could be mentioned. Anything that shows you tend to take RESPONSIBILITY at a young age.

Bring ID and paper to write and a pen.

ASK QUESTIONS about the company and the specific job. Be enthusiatic about it. Smile. Give more than one or two word answers. Don;t focus on the pay, focus on the job and what it entails. Ask about pay at the end. NOTE: My sister started out in housekeeping years ago and now has her own cleaning business and does VERY well. GOOD LUCK!
