I am concerned...When looking for a job for the first time after college will my GPA hurt me?

Soon I will need to be looking for a job. If all goes well I need to find an internship next summer and I can graduate next August. My problem is that right now as I type this my overall GPA at Texas A&M University is 2.25, My in program GPA is 2.0 :(. However I just completed my third semester there. Most of the courses I have taken I transferred in and a large proportion of those were B's. I am just concerned that my GPA is going to hurt me. However alot of these classes I got C's in at A&M are not easy like Genetics.

It depends on what kind of a job you're looking for. Your GPA certainly won't help you, but you can stress that although you struggle to learn facts that are unassociated with a task, you quickly learn any required task and the concept that's associated with it, that you don't test well, but that you perform remarkably well, that you have a sturdy sense of logic and a solid base of practical knowledge that will allow you to be an outstanding employee.

That may help to counter their fears of getting someone with really high grades but not a lick of common sense, and their fears of someone who has a low GPA because he's...well...a little slow, and he gets it, sorta, if you explain it to him and show it to him a hundred times, but who has time for that?

It depends where all u choose to work b cuz my cousin is workn sum where and her gpa is 2.o so it all depends.
