I am applying for a job at Jo-Ann's and the application asks to briefly explain why you are interested in working for Jo-Ann's. I am completely stumped and have no idea what to write. Can anyone help me out.

This question comes up in just about every interview. The answer is show off your knowledge of the company.

I don't know much about craft stores, but maybe you could say something like, "I am interested in working for a nationwide chain like Joanns because I know that my hard work and knowledge of crafts (or whatever) will not go unnoticed, which could lead to opportunities of advancement. I also like the idea of working along with a large team of coworkers. A large craft store like Joans offers job security which means that I can see myself working here for a long time.

I love shopping at JoAnns!!!!

No problem.

Try one of these....

JoAnns is a great company that offers wonderful merchandise for any creative person.

JoAnns is a stable company with a fun atmosphere!

I have been a customer for a long time, and would love the opportunity to work in such a wonderful store!

You dont have to say those EXACTLY....but that gives you an idea of what to say, and what they want to hear.
