I HATE my boss, Should I leave?

Hate is a very strong word and should not be thrown around. But I truly HATE my boss. I don't know what I'm supposed to do. Not only do I hate her at work, but I hate everything about her. She's got this high pitched Scottish accent and every time she opens her mouth I want to punch her in the face. She's also extremely 2 faced and I feel like I'm the only one that notices these things about her. I hate her face, her demeanor, the way she handles things, her attitude, her clothing, EVERYTHING! I feel like everything she says is completely useless. Every single conversation turns in to something about her. All that comes out of her mouth is I, Me, Myself, Mine.

Also, she's a complete *****. She can't spell, she can't finish a sentence without slurring or stuttering and getting her words mixed up. If she was a nice person I would let it slide. But she is not.

I like my job. I like the staff and the work that I do. I try to ignore her flaws but they stand out to me so much that it's impossible to ignore.

What to do? Carry on doing my work that I enjoy, or leave, because she makes me miserable at work?

Welcome to the working world. There are always going to be bosses or coworkers or clients who absolutely suck. If you enjoy your work and most of the people you work with, you're better off than a lot of people. And keep in mind... it's not especially easy to find employment right now.

I'm in pretty much the same situation. My boss is completely worthless and blames problems on everyone and everything except herself. But other than that, my job is awesome, and I would dream of quitting.

Well do you see her a lot in a day? If you like the staff and your job why quit cause of one person. She seems like a total ***** in your description of her. It's a hard decision. I'm glad you picked Yahoo to have a question. Anyway I think you should stay with the job just answer my question up top and I can make a final decision.

What do personal feelings have to do with work? nothing.

seems like you have a personal problem with this person, and thats really not a work problem. you are looking for reasons to dislike her.

work is business, its not personal.

thats not to say you cant look for another job in the meantime.

just dont quit this job till you have something else.
