I've recently begun stretching my ears, will there be much trouble finding employment?
I have just recently begun to stretch my ear lobes, and I was wondering (seeing as I'm 16) what professional/high paying jobs will allow stretched ear lobes. I would appreciate a good list if possible, if there is one online somewhere.
Thanks.
There is no reason for anyone to post anything negative about ear lobe stretching, seeing as I don't need to read your opinion on them themselves, I just wish to know the answer to my question.

It's interesting that you've gotten answers from a bunch of people that can't possibly know the answer, because they haven't stretched their ears themselves. |

McDonald's would gladly hire you i'm sure. But to be honest, yes you will have trouble finding a proffessional career, if you want to start somewhere that you'll have to answer to older peers. Which will be most places. Unfortunately thats just how it is dude, sorry, but unproffessional appearance means unproffessional attitude to most employers. |

I doubt there's a premade list of jobs that allow stretched earlobes, lol, but there are a lot of employers who are fine with an alternative look depending on what field you're interested in. If you're looking to be the CEO of some stuffy company or work in a high profile lawfirm, you're probably going to be SOL. If you're pursuing other possible lines of work that are less about physical professionalism -- programming, sales, etc. -- then you should be fine. Even my doctor has tattoos. |

While there is no list of jobs/companies that allow alternative appearances, be forewarned that any company in which you will be dealing with people will probably look at an overt alternative appearance as a negative. In many cases, this will keep you off the management ladder as well as out of jobs such as lawyer, etc. |

Stretching ear lobes and any visually placed tattoo's ( Such as face and neck) are much frowned upon in the job market when you are applying for a job. I can understand that it is an expression of ones youth. Secondly, asking for a high paying and professional job is not going to happen if you do not have the experience that employers are in demand of. |

Many people in the professional setting are prettty conservative, so i'd doubt that they'd hire someone who has stretched earlobes. i know my parents would call it "freaky," and both of them have had to do a lot of interviewing and hiring in their professional careers. |

You will have some troubles yes, But if you find a job you love that you can do with body modifications and tattoo's, then there is no need to worry. Like cutting hair is what I want to do. Or maybe doing piercings at a shop. |
