To keep things short, very promising interview this past Thursday, manager said she would DEFINITELY call Tuesday morning whether I got the job or not, and it was around 2pm, so I called. She said she was glad that I called, but that a server had called in sick, and that the assistant manager wasn't coming in until later in the evening, they'd talk then and that she would call me today.

So it's be like 24 hours, and no call. The restaurant closes around 8 or 9. During the interview, she told me the hours I'd work, what the uniform was, the shift hours, what shoes I'd have to wear, and how much I would get paid. Doesn't that make it sound like she's going to hire me? Anyway, I just can't decide when to call. Now, tomorrow, later today, or just wait for her call? Everyone is telling me something different. This is driving me crazy; I want the job. Advice please? Thanks!(:

You should wait for her to call because you got the job it sounds like and she would not go into that much detail unless you got the job and they may be busy and have to fill in so be patient because they may contact you tomorrow because the 6th of september is probably when they will be able to add payroll since its the official first full week of september so you should expect a call before the weekend and an orientation and starting by next week
