I'm stuck in a rut, what should I do?

Everything seems really perfect right now, I'm 24 ,I live in a beautiful place with my loving boyfriend and I'm going to college to do something I always dreamed of- Sounds nice? I feel stupid but I'm falling into a depression I've lost all my motivation for my college course as I spend more time travelling to and from it than I do there. The whole course is also falling way below my expectations, I've put in so much work to even get to the stage I am now- but I also know there's a lot more work to go before the end! I always seem to give up on things before the end and it would mean so much to me to succeed in something for once and for others to see that I can do something difficult and see it through. But I'm my own worst enemy I block myself from doing things, I'd had 100% attendance now I'm avoiding going in and dodging my workload. I'm so sad about it I wish I could be stronger and have more drive but my goals have slipped away or changed. What I really want is to get married and start a family, but I feel ashamed of that and it's tearing me up inside not being able to express that.

Im in the same place- minus the nice stuff. ha ha we cant even afford our nice place in a bad area..I actually really had to think a lot....and then a lot more to figure out what i want to do career wise because all i want is for my bf and i to get married and have a family. But he says hes not ready (which is why im telling you this because you should talk to your boyfriend and see where he is) We just made progress because Im trying to hope for the future and since we know we don't want to live here, I asked where do you want to live-which of course he had no idea, but by me looking I think we found it. SO we were able to settle on a place. even a time (3 years) and we've settled on the fact that we want to have kids in 5 years. Talk to your boyfriend. See what he wants, what you want and then focus on how your going to get there. I know what career I want so im taking classes for it- no i know that we want to move in 3 years to a house hopefully so now i had to think about money, So best thing is for me to find a job relative to what i want my career to be so i 1. get money 2. get my feet wet. Sorry if im going all over the place im very hyper at the moment. But Basically what im saying is DON'T feel ashamed of wanting to get married and start a family you are 24 and before 50 yr olds were having babies 24-26 was when most woman started to want to settle down. Just set new goals. Talk to your boyfriend to see what he wants. Look at how long you've been together, and you should be able to talk about if marriage is your path. It sucks but weddings aren't the romance of movies were the girl just walks around and then pop he asks the questions and shes shocked- in real life couples need to talk about it. Then focus on where you want your lives to go, what do you need to get there? Is this career choice really something you want, or is it going to tie you down. Alot of people get stuck in the thinking that well this is life, and most people don't like their jobs (which is sadly true) and hey our parents went into the grind of working 9-5 hating every minute. I however want my cake and i want to eat it too! I want passion in the work place and out. So make sure you like what your doing- if you want that family think about if your career path will let you accomplish what you want. For me it was important that i get to be at home with my children prior to school years so i worked that into my plans. Again sorry for the left-right-left right, sometimes i think i have ADD. But anyway i hope i helped some. AND remember DON'T feel ashamed. Life is meant to be LIVE reassess and move on = )
