I have no experience but have always been very interested in acting. What should I do?

Get experience. Act in local shows (the equivalent of "Off, Off, Off Broadway").

You need to get some experience. Do local community theatre or browse Craigslist for casting calls. Learn about the business and the craft. Get some good quality 8x10s made (a headshot). Do some work as an extra. Talk to agents.

Once you have some experience, you need to figure out what you want to do: Theatre, TV or film. If you want to do theatre or TV, you need to move to New York. If you want TV or film you need to move to Los Angeles. Why? If you are going to fish, you need to go where the fish are.

You have to be realistic about your chances of breaking though. There are a handful of actors that make millions and a million actors that make nothing. It's not all about money and fame though, if you love your work then often that is reward enough.
