How would you put temporary work on your resume?

I need to showcase experience from temporary work assignments on it

I would suggest one of two options:

- List all of your positions under a broad "Consulting Experience" or "Contract Experience" header. List the full date range for all of your positions with this header. You can then place specific date ranges next to each position. For example:

Freelance Web Designer (2000 “ 2010)

Company Name “ Location (dates)

- Achievement

- Achievement

Company Name “ Location (dates)

- Achievement

- Achievement

Company Name “ Location (dates)

- Achievement

- Achievement

You may also choose to simply place the word "Contract" next to each position, like:

Title (Contract) “ Company Name “ Location (Dates)

I'd create a general heading - something like "contract work" and then break out the individual jobs underneath. You don't want people that are looking at your resume to not realize they were temporary and think you were fired or quit from several jobs over a short period of time.
