Hello Ella14,

When you write your CV let them know that you are customer service oriented. That you have patience, are a quality person give adjatives that describe your personality and qualities that relate to this field. Eager to learn new field and willing to work hard, learn. If you have a flare for putting clothes together, a fashion sense let them know you have a portfolio to show your work upon request.

Take pictures of clothes you have with accessories do about five different styles, name them so they can see your creativity. Take this on interviews. Have the people that know you the best vouch for your character, are you on time consistent, etc. I think you get the point.

Instead of a picture, of yourself on the CV put one of the pictures of the clothing combination's you put together.

Also, if you are still having trouble, go to your local area, find a small retail dress shop. Let them know what you would like to do in retail. Ask them to work a few hours a week, even volunteer to get some experience in that field, they will welcome the help. You may end up staying on with them if they really like you or you them. Learn the ins and outs of the industry, understand the marketing aspects then move on to other retailers if you so choose.

Hope this helps in your adventures:)
