How would i go about getting a supervisors name for a cover letter ?

I'm applying for a job that requires a cover letter ,although i don't have any friends or relatives that work for this company ,and i thought a cover letter requires the person i'm directing it to,i do not know anybody's name at this company is it really necessary to put the name of the person or could i just put to whom it may concern ?

Myself I am of the opinion that letters are great, provided they are written utilizing great grammar and spelling (always use a spill chucker!). You can get some great instruction for composing letters by visiting the site in the box below, it's got plenty of alternative stuff about job hunting too. |

Call or Email them. The name sometimes will help insure that you letter will go straight to the person. |
