How to quit my job without giving notice?

I work part-time at a grocery store that is about 30 miles from my house. Over the weekend, I was interviewed and offered a job at a pharmacy less than a mile away, with better pay, better hours, and benefits. The way training is at this company, I am required to attend a few classes and in-store training, which is only offered every so often. This training starts tomorrow. How do I quit my current job today? I'm not terribly worried about using my current employer as a reference of any kind, nor would I ever return to work there.

Call them, you never know when you will meet any of these people again. Tell the truth, another opportunity has been offered to you. Thank them and apologise about any inconvenience you will cause them. Good luck in your new job. |

Well to officially answer your exact question, to quit without giving notice would be to just never call or go there again for work aka no show no call. That is kind of messed up to do that tho. I would atleast call them and tell them you wont be coming in no more-you do still have to go there for your paycheck unless you have direct deposit. |
