I'm doing 2 degrees law and economics. I have very good marks. But now the job market is so competitive what else can I do to improve.

As soon as your course finishes get a job, even if its in your local corner shop. Having a constant record of employment looks brilliant on a cv. Use your free time to do as much volunteer work or work experience as you can. Not only will this give you valuable experience that looks good on a cv you will meet people who might be able to give or find you a job. Several of my friends volunteered and got offered jobs from this within a few months. Don't just look for advertised jobs, try actively contacting companies asking if they have any positions open. The worst that happen is they say no. Good luck :) |
