How to find local engineering jobs in california?
So I'm graduating with a mechanical engineering degree in May, and I would like to move to california.
does anyone have any tips on how to look for local engineering job. I'm looking for small firms, which probably will not advertise job openings in Monster.com or some other web services. Any advice on getting the job or moving over there is greatly appreciate it.

Decide where you want to relocate to. Then get the phone book for that and the surrounding area and look up each company doing the kind of work you seek. Do two things, A) write a good resume that smiles and describes your talents and experiences, B) write your own employment want ad and put it in the area news papers, let it run for at least a couple of weeks. |
