How should i write my first CV and what should it look like?

Hi there, i'm 18 and wanting to get a summer job under my belt before i go to university. I've never had previous employment before apart from working a week at my local tennis club for unpaid work experience. So i'm wondering how to actually set out my Curriculum Vitae as i've never written one before. Also, i'm wondering what content to put it in, should i mention my previous work experience at a tennis club considering i'll probably be handing out my CV to places like tesco, clothes shops and cafe's.

I really don't know where to start and would appreciate a rough template. Can someone help me out?

If you have Microsoft word they have some nice templates to help get you started. You should also be able to find some at the link listed below.

Even if you weren't paid for your work at the tennis club, you should still add it to your CV. Since you are 18 every little bit helps. Make sure to put at least two references. Preferably someone from the tennis club, and then possibly a teacher at your school (if there was someone in particular you liked). Parents of friends is generally frowned upon.
