How should I call and ask for job openings?

I'm trying to look for an SLPA job (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant), but they don't usually post up on websites like Monster/Indeed, etc. so I'm planning to call clinics around the city and ask if there's any job opportunities. Any suggestions on what exactly to say?? Thanks!
